Information about Windows 7 end of support

In a few months, Microsoft will discontinue support for Windows 7. Today, we would like to inform you what this means for your GMG Products.

End of life cycle for Windows 7
On January 14, 2020, Microsoft will end its support for Windows 7. This means that they won’t provide any technical support, additional features or security updates for this operating system as of this date.

What this means for your GMG Products
Don’t worry! If you have our GMG applications installed on a computer running Windows 7, you will, of course, still be able to use them. However, we have to advise that we can no longer offer you support in the event of problems or errors that may occur in our solutions.

Think about an update early
To stay up-to-date, both technically and in terms of security, we recommend you to already think about switching to a more recent version. This will help you minimize the risk of third-party compatibility issues, security gaps or downtime in your production environment. For more information about end of life for Windows 7, click here.
