Support of X-Rite i1Pro 3

GMG ProofControl and GMG ColorProof now fully support the new measuring device from X-Rite.
The X-Rite i1Pro 3 and the new i1iO Generation 3 table can now be used for proof verification in GMG ProofControl, as well as in GMG ColorProof for use in GMG CaliWizard, GMG ProfileEditor and GMG SpotColor Editor. Please note that a new model of i1iO has been developed to accommodate the i1Pro 3. The new handheld device is not compatible to the older i1iO tables.

New Features

New PSR V2 standards for measurement condition M1 in GMG ProofControl

The new version GMG ProofControl 2.5 includes the updated PSR V2 standards. Please find here the list of the new printing standards.

New proof standards and profile conversions for Epson SureColor SC-Px500 in GMG ColorProof

GMG ColorProof 5.12.1 includes three new proof standards for Epson SureColor SC-Px500 on GMG ProofPaper studio OBA matte 150.
Also included are new profile conversions for GMG ProfileEditor, which enable you to convert custom proof profiles from Epson SureColor SC-Px000 series printers to Epson SureColor SC-Px500 printers. Find here the list of new proof standards and conversions.

Default GMG calibration sets for Epson SureColor SC-S80600

With this version, GMG calibration sets for the Epson SureColor SC-S80600 are now available as part of the default configuration. A manual import is no longer necessary for the following media and print mode combinations

JetComp 8410 C1S Board - 9c - 720 x 1440 dpi (Contone only)
JetComp 8502 ClearPoly - White 9c Reverse - 720 x 1440 dpi (Contone & DotProof)
JetComp 8508 MetalPoly - White 9c - 720 x 1400 dpi (Contone & DotProof)

Using the Calibration Creation Wizard, you can still create individual calibration sets for each substrate covered by the printer.

End of Life

Please note that we will no longer provide bug fixes, maintenance releases, workarounds, or patches for bugs found in GMG ColorProof 5.12.0.361 or older, nor in GMG ProofControl 2.4.1.138.

End of Service Life of GMG ProofControl 2.3

We hereby announce the End of Service Life (EOSL) for GMG ProofControl 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3. The EOSL means that all support has been discontinued for the above product and version with immediate effect. Hence, support calls via the service hotline, email, or the trouble ticket system related to that version will no longer be accepted.
