Installation instructions
Create an environment backup of your existing configuration (version 5.9 or newer).
Fully close ColorProof, including the tray icon in the task bar.
Double-click the file WebSetup_CP_5.11.2.236.exe to run the setup.
Select the additional program features such as GMG ProfileEditor, GMG GamutViewer, or GMG Remote CaliWizard you want to install.
Start ColorProof after the installation wizard is closed.
ColorProof is now updated.
New Features
New PANTONE® Solid Coated & Uncoated Spot Color Sets
PANTONE® recently released a new version of their PANTONE® Formula Guide Solid Coated & Uncoated. 294 new colors are added for an enhanced color consistency across a variety of materials.
The new spot color sets PANTONE® Solid Coated V4 and PANTONE® Solid Uncoated V4 are now available in GMG ColorProof.

Prepared for new GMG ProofMedia studio OBA semiMatte 200
For most applications in job and publication printing according to PSO Coated v3 (FOGRA51), proofing on OBA media is the right choice. GMG ProofMedia studio OBA semiMatte 200 enables proofing of products printed on coated production paper containing optical brightening agents (OBAs) such as magazines or brochures but also packaging.
With the latest GMG ColorProof version, the full support of GMG ProofMedia studio semiMatte 200 is already enabled.
Further information about the new GMG ProofMedia and deliverability will follow.
Resolved issues
ColorProof 5.11.2.236 includes improvements that allow you to use your ColorProof even more efficiently. Users with a case-ID will be notified separately by the GMG support teams.
End of Life
Please note, that we will no longer provide bug fixes, maintenance releases, workarounds, or patches for bugs found in 5.11.1.443 or older.
