Low performance
After updating to GMG ColorServer 5.5.0.3419, PDF processing took significantly longer.
Flattening error
The flattening calculation of some PDF files ran into an error.
The separation engine used by GMG ColorServer has been greatly improved to simplify workflows and make the latest MXN enhancements from GMG OpenColor also available to GMG SmartProfiler. Benefit from faster profile calculation, request CMYK-to-ECG separations, use new ink saving presets and much more by installing this update.
As an administrator, you can now assign global and distinct access rights for connected clients to safeguard your color management resources and hotfolders from undesired alterations. Choose between two access modes: either grant basic access for color conversion via preset hotfolders and updating existing GMG SmartProfiler resources only, or grant advanced access for complete asset and configuration control on top. You can also password-protect the client access mode setting to prevent it from being switched by unauthorized users (see "Client Access Mode").
