Create high-resolution MXN profiles with smaller file size
Higher, faster, smaller: your MXN profiles now take up to 90% less storage space than before with higher quality at the same time. The multicolor profiles are also created up to 15 times faster, which benefits dynamically connected GMG ColorProof systems as well. Find out how to become more efficient with the latest MXN profiling by following the link: State of the Art MXN Profiling
Import MX4 profiles and convert them into spectral data
Manage and use all your colors in one common database  including process colors from your MX4 and ICC profiles: with the new Lab-to-Spectral conversion technology, you can convert Lab-based characterization data into spectral values and thus also use and combine them for other projects as you like. You can find a tutorial under the following link: Lab-to-Spectral: Create a Characterization From an MX4 Proof Profile
Type not measure: add spot colors as Lab values
You can now add new spot colors to your database faster by directly entering their Lab value. Just open the corresponding gradation and click on Add Spot Color as L*a*b* under Tools & Actions > Finish on the right. With the also new Lab-to-Spectral conversion technology, the values will then be automatically converted into spectral data and all associated projects and symbols will be updated.
Remove old profiles from the database with a few clicks
Why wait any longer for spring cleaning? Tidy up your HDD and SSD immediately with the new database cleanup feature and remove obsolete dynamic proof profiles and preview profiles at the touch of a button. You can find detailed instructions under the following link: Database Cleanup
Export and share spot colors as CxF
One color reference. One source. For all stakeholders. Now you can export spot colors from your database as a CxF file to share both solids and color gradations reliably with all partners in the process chain. Not only does this make communication easier and more efficient, it also makes it less error-prone. If you have a valid Subscription, you can order the Spot Color CxF Export option from your GMG sales channel parter for a fee.
Upgrade the database with 229 new PANTONE® colors

GMG OpenColor 3.0 supports the latest PANTONE® Formula Guide Solid Coated & Uncoated V5. This gives you a total of 2390 colors for your profiling, including 224 brand new Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors and 5 new eco-friendly Pantone base mixing inks.

Manage licenses with the new Application Service

AppService V1 or V2? This question will not bother you anymore, now the motto is: one for all — all with one! The new Application Service manages all GMG licenses together and keeps their status up-to-date via the GMG Cloud. It also recognizes new licenses automatically and transfers them to your system in the background. In the revamped user interface, you can view a complete license overview at any time and also create a log file for troubleshooting in case of problems. Find out more under the following link: License Management
